Inna came to the center in 2009 to take part in a course "Independent life and social adaptation", aimed at teenagers who have difficulties in interacting with others: at school, with peers, at home, etc. We found out that Inna had very complicated relationship with parents, especially with her father. They used to have regular conflicts. Currently her father and brother are under investigation. Inna is very anxious about her family problems. Due to special needs, Inna goes to the evening school. Inna came to us as a very anxious loner.
There were ups and downs during the course. Sometimes Inna needed more self-confidence and peers' support. But what she has always had (something pure and even bewildering) is her kindness. Once everybody refused to prepare lunch for the onsite training. It was Inna who decided to took the initiative and cooked lunch for all participants, which was very cool and tasty! And when they were given a task to prepare a mini-training, Inna took responsibility for the whole event and carried it out without any help of mentors. The training was very successful.
But the biggest achievement and contribution for the girl has been her immense help in working with children from special children's home No. 2. For more than 3 months she would visit our lessons with those children and help mentors and teachers to do their homework, handicrafts, etc. But, most importantly, she would talk to children, have fun, and give them her love. Inna showed her best qualities, such as delicacy, fondness, kindness, and sincerity.
The award "Best volunteer of Perm", which she received in 2012, demonstrates her commitment to volunteering and proves out her best qualities.
