Love’s Bridge

Love’s Bridge has been the main charity for street kids in Perm since 1997, working with hundreds of children over that period. By implementing proven methods from various projects around the world we helped many children and young people change their lives around, getting off the streets for good. We developed close links with the local authorities, playing a major role in policy changes, which have resulted in a major reduction in the numbers of kids living on Perm’s streets.

Love’s Bridge no longer runs a shelter for street children – we helped local authorities set up and improve their own shelters. Kids who run away from home or their orphanage visit our day centers, where they can receive basic help – medical attention, washing facilities, a hot meal. Our staff find out their situations, help them to resolve their problems, and find a safe place to live.
