Love’s Bridge

Love’s Bridge works with local schools and social services to find the children who are really struggling with their studies, or not going to classes at all. We are often told about kids who are ‘hopeless’, ‘out of control’ and ’stupid’, and that trying to teach them is ‘useless’ or a ‘waste of time’. The kids who visit our centers tell us of the physical and mental abuse they suffer at school, and that they see no point in studying.

We have developed a program called ‘School Without Classes’ - kids attend individual sessions where they get help and support with their studies, and group sessions that include fun experiments, excursions to factories and museums where they can see the things they learn in practice. Unlike at school, we focus on enjoyment and understanding, and kids are rewarded for attending classes and being enthusiastic. Their attendance, grades and attitude quickly improve as a result!
